THE FAT CYCLIST GOES TO CAMPPrior to Team RadioShack's training camp in Tucson, Arizona, a popular cycling blogger by the name of The Fat Cyclist (Elden Nelson) wrote an open letter to Johan listing the many reasons he should be included as a professional rider on Team RadioShack.  Surprising to many, Johan responded, inviting The Fat Cyclist to camp under the condition he met some fundraising challenges which benefited both LIVESTRONG and World Bicycle Relief. The Fat Cyclist and Team Fatty met every single challenge put in front of them, raising over $135,000 in just  one week and earning Fatty a trip to camp, a new Trek Madone 6 Series bike and a trip for him and his family to go to the Amgen Tour of California with Fatty getting the chance to sit next to Johan during a stage.  In true fundraising spirit, Fatty thanked those who donated by randomly choosing donors and awarding them with a Trek bike signed by Team RadioShack, a custom painted Fat Cyclist Superfly and a trip to the 2010 Tour de France courtesy of Trek Travel.

With Hollywood Actor Ben Stiller launching his StillerStrong campaign, Johan felt compelled to give Ben some advice and let him know the potential dangers he may face as he goes up against Lance.
