The Bruyneel Team's "Tour de Family" is well underway. First to Valencia where we visited Eva's family, followed by a travel day to Izegem, Belgium where Team Bruyneel is currently based. It doesn't take long for my complete and undivided focus to change from the 2011 season to the 2012. Less than 24 hours in fact. It's been a while since I've touched base with you on the blog. I was intending to do it on my holiday, but never really got around to it. I was either laying on the lounge chair at my friend's house in Mallorca or playing with the kids. With Victoria in school and July being Tour de France time, August is really the only month we can take a true vacation where it doesn't effect her school schedule.

I'll start by repeating what I said yesterday.

Legends are made every July and Cadel Evans now stands among them. Congrats Cadel, the entire BMC team including riders, staff and sponsors, and the entire nation of Australia on this amazing accomplishment. Chapeau!

After a long three week journey to Paris, it's nice to spend Monday with my family. It's tough being away from them and that much tougher during a Tour like we had. Let's be honest. It felt like the longest three weeks...
